Correcting an Error in Notice dated 23rd November, 1916, as to Men called up for Service with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force.

WHEREAS by subsection three of section ten of the Military Service Act, 1916, it is enacted that the Minister of Defence may from time to time by notice in the Gazette correct any error in the gazetted list of men called up under that Act for service with the Expeditionary Force: And whereas in the notice published in the Gazette of the 23rd day of November, 1916, setting forth the names, places of abode, and occupations of men called up for service as aforesaid, the name of James Almor Wise was incorrectly published in the list for the No. 4 (Waikato) Recruiting District as James Almor Wine:
Now, therefore, I, James Allen, the Minister of Defence for the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power conferred on me by subsection three of section ten of the Military Service Act, 1916, do hereby amend the gazetted list hereinbefore referred to by substituting for the name "James Almor Wine" in the list for the No. 4 (Waikato) Recruiting District the name "James Almor Wise."
