Officiating Ministers for 1917.—Notice No. 4.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Marriage Act, 1908, the following names of Officiating Ministers within the meaning of the said Act are published for general information :—

Public Service Stores Tender Board.—Tenders for the Supply of Uniforms and Caps for Messengers.
Wellington, 3rd February, 1917.
TENDERS will be received at the office of the Chairman, General Post Office, Wellington, not later than 4 p.m. on Wednesday, the 21st February, 1917, for the supply and delivery of uniforms and caps for messengers for a period of twelve months from the 1st March, 1917. Particulars and conditions of tender may be obtained from the Officer in Charge, Government Buildings, Wellington, where samples may be seen.

Exportation of Stilton Cheese and Dairy Cheese.
Customs Department,
Wellington, 7th February, 1917.
IT is hereby notified for general information that Stilton cheese and dairy cheese may be exported to consignees, other than the British Government, in the United Kingdom and British possessions and protectorates.
Applications must be made to the local Collector of Customs specifying the marks and numbers, number of packages, names of shippers and consignees, names of exporting vessels and ports of final departure from New Zealand.

Notice under the Family Protection Act, 1908.—Application No. 2.
I HEREBY give notice that HEKE PUHARA, of Pakipaki, Hawke’s Bay, aboriginal Native of New Zealand, has made application under the provisions of Part I of the Family Protection Act, 1908, to have the land described in her said application situate at Pakipaki, in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay, registered as a “family home”; and that the same will be registered accordingly, unless caveat forbidding the same be lodged with me at the District Lands Registry Office at Napier, by some person claiming to be a creditor of the applicant, within the time limited for that purpose by the said Act.

The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1908.—Notice of Proposed Cancellation of Registration.

Wellington, 6th February, 1917.
NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the Wellington Master Butchers’ Industrial Union of Employers, registered number 186, situated at Wellington, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred upon me by section 21 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1908, it is my intention to cancel the registration of that industrial union after the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.

NOTICE is hereby given that the lease of the under-mentioned land having been declared forfeited by resolution of the Otago Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.

Lands in Nelson Land District for Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers.
District Lands and Survey Office,

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned lands are open for sale or lease to discharged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, and the regulations thereunder; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Nelson, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Wednesday, 11th April, 1917.
The lands may be purchased for cash or on deferred payments, or selected on lease for sixty-six years, with right of renewal for further successive terms of sixty-six years and a right to acquire the freehold.
Applicants must appear personally before the Land Board for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Nelson, on Thursday, 12th April, 1917, at 10 o’clock a.m.
The ballot will be held at the conclusion of the examination of applicants.
