Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block XIII, Rangaunu Survey District.

[L.S.] LIVERPOOL, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block XIII, Rangaunu Survey District:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 acres.
Portion of Parapara East “C,” Block XIII, Rangaunu Survey District (S.O. 18463A).
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41174, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this second day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

Land taken for the Purposes of the Development of the Lake Coleridge Water-power Scheme in the Borough of Riccarton (Wood’s Mill Substation).

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the development of the Lake Coleridge water-power scheme in the Borough of Riccarton (Wood’s Mill Substation):
And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in terms of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such land for the public work hereinafter set forth:
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the land as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of the development of the Lake Coleridge water-power scheme (Wood’s Mill Substation; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3·6 perches.
Portion of R.S. 113 (Canterbury Registration District), Borough of Riccarton.
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41673,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this second day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

Crown Land in Block IV, Tangihua Survey District, set apart for the Purposes of a Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is Crown land, and is required to be set apart for the purposes of a road in Block IV, Tangihua Survey District:
And whereas by section twenty-one of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that whenever any Crown land is required to be set apart for any public work the Governor may at any time by Proclamation set the same apart for such public work, without complying with any of the provisions of that Act in respect of the taking or setting-apart of other lands for such purpose:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of the said road; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

0 0 23·8 Whangarei Harbour; coloured neutral tint.
Situated in Maungakaramea Parish, Block IV, Tangihua Survey District (S.O. 19258).
In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 40795, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
