Altering Boundaries of Waikohu and Wairoa Counties.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation (hereinafter referred to as “the said Proclamation”) made under the Counties Amendment Act, 1913, dated the sixteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, the boundaries of the Counties of Waikohu and Wairoa were altered in the manner described therein as from the date of the publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette:
And whereas the resolutions proposing the said alteration passed by the respective Councils of the said counties, as provided by section three of the said Counties Amendment Act, 1913, recited that the said Councils desired the said alteration to take effect from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen:
And whereas it is expedient to amend the said Proclamation in order to give full effect to the said resolutions:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Counties Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, do hereby amend the said Proclamation by striking out the words “date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette,” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.”
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this sixth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

Preparation of District Electors Roll, Borough of Hamilton.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the twentieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and duly published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fifth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, at page 246, the Boroughs of Hamilton and Frankton were declared to be one united borough by the name of Hamilton, as from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen: And whereas by the said Proclamation Edwin John Davey was appointed Town Clerk and Returning Officer temporarily of the said united borough: And whereas it is necessary that a district electors list for the said united borough as constituted at the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, should be prepared:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf enabling me in the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim, declare, and direct—
“That a district electors list shall be prepared for the said united Borough of Hamilton, in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and the regulations thereunder; and that the said EDWIN JOHN DAVEY shall be the person to prepare such list.”
