I, R. H. RHODES, Chairman of the Waimate County
Council, hereby notify that Messrs. Thos. Fleming,
J. F. Cooney, J. H. Andrews, M. Crowe, and P. J. Hanley
have been appointed a Waihao Water-race Managing Rate-
payers Committee as from 28th November, 1917, and that
the Waimate County Council has conferred on the said
Managing Ratepayers all the powers of management, in
respect of all water-races supplying the Lower Waihao
Water-supply District, possessed by the Waimate County
Council.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and the amendments thereof; and in the matter of the BLUE CREEK GOLD, SILVER, AND LEAD DEVELOPMENT COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up
of the above-named company by the Supreme Court
was on the 10th day of December, 1917, presented to the
said Court by Adams and Harley, of Nelson, Solicitors,
creditors of the said company; and that the petition is
directed to be heard before the Supreme Court at Christ-
church on the 21st day of December, 1917; and any creditor
or contributory of the said company desirous to support or
oppose the making of an order on the said petition may
appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for
that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished
to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring
the same, by the undersigned, on payment of the regulated
charge for the same.
