Meeting of the Tokerau District Maori Land Board.

Auckland, 23rd November, 1917.

NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Tokerau District Maori Land Board will be held at Kaikohe on Tuesday, the 11th day of December, 1917, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the matters mentioned in the Schedule hereunder written, and such other matters as may be lawfully brought before it.

It is hereby notified, for the general information of parties, that, unless reason is shown to the contrary, the Board will dismiss, on the ground of non-prosecution, any of the applications hereinafter referred to as “Adjourned Applications” which are not brought on for consideration at the meeting.

13 2931 Motatau No. 5o No. 9 .. That the said land be sold to Donald McKenzie, of Kamo, settler, for the sum of £1 15s. per acre.
14 2932 Orokawa 3C Block .. That the said land be sold to Hoori Hakaraia, of Rawhiti, Russell, farmer, for the sum of £1 per acre, or at the present Government valuation.
15 2945 Hauai No. 1.. .. That the said land be leased to Pita Hau and Wi Wharekura Hami Pia, of Kaikohe, Natives, for a term of twenty-one years at a yearly rental of 5 per cent. on the present Government valuation, together with a right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a yearly rental of 5 per cent. on the then Government valuation.
16 2946 Kotuku B, Section 3 .. That the said land be sold to James Purdy, of Kaikohe, settler, for the amount of £3 per acre, or the amount of the present Government valuation, whichever be the greater.
17 2947 Mimitu-Ruarei No. 18B .. That the said land be sold to Pene Komene, of Pakotai, at a price of £3 per acre.
18 2948 Maunganui No. 1 Block .. (a.) That the said land be sold to Anton Russek, of Hukerenui, farmer, at £1 per acre. (b.) That all survey liens or other charges upon the said land be paid out of the purchase-money. (c.) That the meeting be held at Whangarei.
19 2950 Mangapupu B No. 5 Block .. That the said land be sold to Louis Frank King for the price or sum of £1 10s. per acre.
