Correcting Errors in Notices dated 13th February, 1917, 13th March, 1917, 17th April, 1917, 8th May, 1917, 6th June, 1917, 4th July, 1917, 3rd September, 1917, and 2nd October, 1917, as to Men called up for Service with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force.


WHEREAS by subsection (3) of section 10 of the Military Service Act, 1916, it is enacted that the Minister of Defence may from time to time, by notice in the Gazette, correct any error in the gazetted list of men called up under that Act for service with the Expeditionary Force: And whereas such errors have occurred in the notices as to men called up for service as aforesaid, published in the Gazettes of the 13th day of February, 1917, the 13th day of March, 1917, the 17th day of April, 1917, the 8th day of May, 1917, the 6th day of June, 1917, the 4th day of July, 1917, the 3rd day of September, 1917, and the 2nd day of October, 1917, respectively:

Now, therefore, I, James Allen, the Minister of Defence for the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power conferred on me by subsection (3) of section 10 of the Military Service Act, 1916, do hereby amend the gazetted lists hereinbefore referred to in the manner set forth in the Schedule hereto.
