And whereas the Minister of Railways has agreed to grant
to the said Dalgety and Company (Limited) a lease with
private siding access of all that parcel of railway reserve
containing an area of 2 roods 21.6 perches, more or less,
being Lot 1 (comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 265, folio
231), Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District, City of Auckland,
as more particularly shown coloured green on plan numbered
11558 (W.R. 24666) deposited in the Land Registry Office at
Auckland:
Now, therefore, 1, William Herbert Herries, Minister of
Railways, do hereby give notice, in pursuance of the pro-
visions of section 84 of the Public Works Act, 1908, that an
agreement for lease and grant of siding access as above, dated
the 20th day of June, 1916, has been assented to by me.

Grant of a Lease of Railway Reserve and Private-siding Access
at Auckland in favour of A. S. Paterson and Company
(Limited).
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908; and in the
matter of a grant of a lease of railway reserve and private-
siding access at Auckland to A. S. Paterson and Com-
pany (Limited) as compensation for leasehold interest
in part of land taken for railway purposes.
WHEREAS by a notice under the Harbours Act, 1908,
published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 101, of
the 26th day of August, 1915, page 3031, and deposited in
the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland as
No. 3668, all that area of land containing 31 acres 2 roods
16 perches, more or less, being portion of Auckland Harbour
Board's endowments, Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District,
City of Auckland, was taken for railway purposes:
And whereas the said A. S. Paterson and Company (Li-
mited) is the party entitled to the compensation payable for
or in respect of a leasehold interest in part of the said land
so taken for railway purposes as aforesaid:
And whereas the Minister of Railways has agreed to grant
to the said A. S. Paterson and Company (Limited) a lease
with private siding access of all that parcel of railway reserve
containing an area of 1 rood 8.7 perches, more or less, being
Lot 3 (comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 265, folio 231),
Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District, City of Auckland, as
more particularly shown coloured green on plan numbered
11601 (W.R. 24708) deposited in the Land Registry Office at
Auckland:
Now, therefore, 1, William Herbert Herries, Minister of
Railways, do hereby give notice, in pursuance of the pro-
visions of section 84 of the Public Works Act, 1908, that an
agreement for lease and grant of siding access as above, dated
the 20th day of June, 1916, has been assented to by me.
