NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, carrying on business as General Merchants at Rakaia, under the style or firm of “Featherstone and Pye,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the eighteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by JOHN PYE, who will continue to carry on the said business under the style or firm of “J. Pye and Co.”

NOTICE TO CREDITORS.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of NEW ZEALAND RUBBER-AIR COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that the creditors of the above-named company are required on or before the twelfth day of October, 1917, to send their names and addresses, and the particulars of their debts or claims, to WILFRID STUART GODFREY, of 100 Hereford Street, Christchurch, the Liquidator of the said company; and, if so required by notice in writing from the said Liquidator, are personally or by their solicitors to come in and prove their said debts or claims at such time and place as shall be specified in such notice, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts or claims are proved.

WELLINGTON DAIRY (LIMITED).
A PRIVATE COMPANY REGISTERED UNDER THE COMPANIES ACT, 1908.

AT a general meeting held on the 22nd day of August, 1917, the following resolution was passed, and the minute-book signed by all the shareholders in the company:—
“That the Wellington Dairy (Limited), having disposed of its business, be wound up voluntarily; and that Mr. ARTHUR JAMES PETHERICK, Public Accountant, of Wellington, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of winding up the company.”

MASTERTON COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Masterton County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £1,100, authorized to be raised by the Masterton County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for constructing an additional reservoir and filter-bed, restoring the existing mains to their full delivering capacity, and paying off the outstanding liability amounting to £265 10s. 7d. on the original loan, all in connection with the Lansdowne High-pressure Water-supply, the said Masterton County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixth of a penny in the pound on the capital rateable value of the Lansdowne Water-supply District described in the special order made by the Masterton County Council on the 8th day of June, 1905, and confirmed on the 13th day of July following, constituting the said district, and in the special order made on the 16th day of May, and confirmed on the 13th day of June, 1911, enlarging the said district; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of February and the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Masterton was hereto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Masterton County Council, in the presence of—
