were originally raised by the late Waimate Road Board, since merged in the Waimate West County Council (hereinafter referred to as the said Council), have been merged or included in the County of Eltham :
And whereas parts of the areas over which the undermentioned loans, viz.,—

were also raised by the said Council have been merged or included in the County of Egmont :
And whereas part of the area over which the undermentioned loan, viz.,—
Manaia Road Loan No. 1 .. .. 220 0 0
was also raised by the said Council has been merged or included in the Town District of Kaponga :
And whereas it has been mutually agreed between the local authorities concerned that the amount of fifty-five pounds eleven shillings in respect of the four loans first above mentioned shall be paid annually by the Eltham County Council to the said Council, also that the amount of sixty-five pounds one shilling and sixpence in respect of the three loans secondly above referred to shall be paid annually by the Egmont County Council to the said Council, and also that the amount of nine pounds eighteen shillings in respect of the Manaia Road Loan No. 1 shall be paid annually by the Kaponga Town Board to the said Council, as their respective duly proportionate parts of the interest and other charges in respect of the said loans :
And whereas written application has been made by the said Council to the Governor-General to direct accordingly :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on me by section seventy-three of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, do hereby direct that the Eltham County Council shall in respect of the four loans first above mentioned pay annually to the said Council on the first day of February in each and every year during the currency of the said loans the sum of fifty-five pounds eleven shillings, also that the Egmont County Council shall in respect of the three loans secondly above mentioned pay annually to the said Council on the first day of February in each and every year during the currency of the said loans the sum of sixty-five pounds one shilling and sixpence, and that the Kaponga Town Board shall pay annually to the said Council in respect of the Manaia Road Loan No. 1 the sum of nine pounds eighteen shillings in each and every year during the currency of the loans, as their duly proportionate parts of the interest and other charges payable in respect of the said loans respectively.
