other source whatever, and whether in pursuance of a special Act or under any other authority whatever, without the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council:
And whereas application has been made for the consent of the Governor-General in Council to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set opposite the names of the said local authorities respectively, for the several purposes specified in the said Schedule, from the State Advances Office:
And whereas it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the borrowing from the State Advances Office of the loans hereinafter mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the Schedule hereto for the purposes specified in the said Schedule; and it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Appropriation Act, 1915, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the loans hereby authorized.

SCHEDULE.
HAURAKI Drainage Board, £5,000: For constructing drainage-works.
Kaitieke County Council, £2,000: For reforming and metalling 2 miles 20 chains of the Kokakonui Road.
Kaitieke County Council, £500: For forming and culverting 2 miles 60 chains of the Wanganui Valley Road.
Mount Roskill Road Board, £2,000: For constructing water-works.
Ohura County Council, £2,000: For metalling portions of the Matiere-Miroahuião Road.
Stratford County Council, £1,200: For forming and metalling the Waihapa Road from the end of the present metal to Wingrove Road.
Waipa County Council, £100: For completing the work of metalling a portion of the county road through the Ohaupo Town District.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three (a) of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county road or district road to be stopped until the consent thereto of the Governor-General, by Order in Council gazetted, is obtained:
And whereas the Waitemata County Council has applied for such consent in respect of the road described in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the above-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Waitemata County Council stopping the road described in the Schedule hereto.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Mahoe Domain.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the thirteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-third day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nine, the domain described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Klee’s Buildings, Whangamomona, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 9 perches, more or less, being Section No. 16, Whangamomona Town. Bounded on all sides by the Whangamomona Stream; save and except 3 roods 9 perches, being that portion of the Stratford Okahukara Railway Reserve which bisects the aforesaid Section 16. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/294, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

WHEREAS by section two of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, it is provided that no person shall lay, construct, place, put up, or use any electric line except under the authority of a license issued by the Governor-General in Council under that Act:
And whereas the New Zealand Refrigerating Company (Limited) (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”) desires to erect electric lines in Section 5, Block V, Westmere Survey District, and Balgownie Avenue, Gonville, as defined in the Schedule hereto, and hereinafter called “the said electric lines,” and it is expedient accordingly to issue a license in respect thereof under the said section:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the said section, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
