Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Hedgehope Domain.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this third day of September, 1917.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and ten, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eighteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and ten, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Hedgehope Domain:
And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the seventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen:
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

DONALD YOUNG,
GEORGE SUTTON,
WILLIAM SCOBIE MCINTOSH,
CHARLES COSTER, and
ARCHIBALD MCKAY
to be the Hedgehope Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-second day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Hedgehope Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
HEDGEHOPE DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being Section No. 344, Block IV, Forest Hill Hundred, Southland County. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 448 in the said block, 921·1 links; towards the east by a public road, 600 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 1140·4 links and 170·2 links respectively; and towards the west by Sections Nos. 366 and 447 in the said block, 1527·1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1359, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Eureka Drainage District extended.

At the Government House at Wellington, this third day of September, 1917.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of section three of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, a majority of the ratepayers in the area described in the First Schedule hereto, situated in the County of Waikato, have presented a petition to His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, praying that the land comprised in the said area be included in the Eureka Drainage District as constituted under the provisions of the said Act:
And whereas it is expedient to alter the boundaries of such drainage district in manner hereinafter appearing:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in section three of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby alter the boundaries of the said Eureka Drainage District by including in such district the area of land described in the said petition and in the First Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the boundaries of the said drainage district, with such addition as herein provided for, shall be those described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA TO BE ADDED TO EUREKA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line along the western boundary of Eureka Drainage District from the Waikato-Thames Railway to the junction of roads at the easternmost corner of Section 3, Newstead Estate; thence along the road forming the southern boundaries of Sections 3, 2, and 1, said Newstead Estate, and of Sections 274 and 275 in Block XV, Komakorau Survey District, and the road forming the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 276, 281, and 282, along the south-western boundary of the said Section 282 and the road forming the north-western boundary of that section to Section 301, along the south-western and north-western boundaries of that section and the road forming the south-western boundary of Section 13 to the Waikato-Thames Railway, and along that railway to the western boundary of the Eureka Drainage District, the place of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
EUREKA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the County of Waikato bounded by a line along the eastern boundary of the said county from the Waikato-Thames Railway to the road forming the southern boundary of Section 18, Eureka Estate, along that road and the Morrinsville-Tauwhare Road to the Tauwhare-Hamilton Road, along that road to the north-eastern corner of Section 163, Parish of Tama here, along the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of that section and the eastern and southern boundaries of Section 164, across a road to Section 161, and along the road forming the eastern boundary of that section and along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 160, along the road forming the south-western boundary of the said Section 160 and the road forming part of the southern boundary of Section 161, and along the western boundaries of Sections 161 and 162 to Section 105, along the south-eastern, north-eastern, and north-western boundaries of that section and the road forming part of the south-western boundary of Section 162 aforesaid, and of Sections 86 and 85 to the Tauwhare-Hamilton Road, along that road, passing Sections 3, 2, and 1, Newstead Estate, and Sections 274, 275, 276, 281, and 282 to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section, along the south-western boundary of that section and the road forming its north-western boundary to Section 301, along the south-western and north-western boundaries of that section and the road forming the south-western boundary of Section 13 to the Waikato-Thames Railway, and along that railway to the county boundary, the place of commencement.

Revoking the Vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Selwyn County of Gravel-pit Reserve 2204, Block XIV, Coleridge Survey District, Canterbury Land District.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Selwyn County, in trust, as a reserve for a gravel-pit, by an Order in Council dated the sixth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine, and published in Gazette of the nineteenth day of that month, in pursuance of section six of the Public Reserves Act Amendment Act, 1878, but a certificate of title has not issued in respect of the said reserve:
And whereas it is expedient that the said Order in Council should be revoked in so far as it relates to the said land, and the Selwyn County Council has duly consented to such revocation:
