RIVERTON PICTURES COMPANY (LIMITED).
At the annual general meeting of the members of the above-named company duly convened and held at More’s Hall, Riverton, on Monday, 16th July, 1917, the following special resolution was duly passed, and at a second extraordinary general meeting duly convened and held at the same place on the 2nd day of August, 1917, was duly confirmed as a special resolution, viz. :—
“ That the company accept Mr. Akhurst’s offer of £410 for company’s business as a going concern as from 1st June last, and that the company be wound up voluntarily.”
At the first-mentioned meeting the following resolution was duly passed :—
“ That LEONARD WRIGHT PETCHELL, of Riverton, Accountant, be appointed Liquidator.”

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of the GISBORNE CO-OPERATIVE MEAT SUPPLY COMPANY (LIMITED).
Notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of members held at the registered office of the above company, 73 Gladstone Road, Gisborne, on the 20th day of July, 1917, the following special resolution was duly passed, viz. :—
That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908; and that the Secretary of the company be hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.
Further notice is hereby given that at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of members held at the same place on the 6th day of August, 1917, the above resolution was duly confirmed.

HAWKE’S BAY COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION (INTENDED TO TAKE EFFECT AS A SPECIAL ORDER) APPOINTING NEW MANAGERS OF THE NGATARAWA WATER-RACE).
In the matter of the Water-supply Act, 1908, and the Water-supply Amendment Act, 1913; and in the matter of the Ngatarawa Water-race.
That this Council hereby revokes the appointment of the present Managers of the Ngatarawa Water-race—to wit, Thomas Talbot, Sween McPhee, Edward James Watt, Robert Sowersby, John Jollie, and Wilfred Gatonby Stead; and, in pursuance of a requisition signed by a majority of the ratepayers supplied by the said water-race, hereby appoints the following persons—Hugh Campbell, of Havelock North; Henry Gascoyne, of Maraekakaho; Antonio Mark Georgetti, of Hastings; Henry Jerome Howard Glazebrook, of Clive; William Graham, of Hastings; Archibald McLean, of Greenhills; and Harry McLeod, of Hastings—to be managing ratepayers for the said water-race, to have and exercise all and singular the powers of management thereof possessed by this Council.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Hawke’s Bay was hereunto affixed this 13th day of August, 1917, in the presence of—

The foregoing resolution appointing new Managers of the Ngatarawa Water-race was duly passed by the Hawke’s Bay County Council at a special meeting thereof duly called and held in the county offices in Browning Street, Napier, on Monday, the 9th day of July last, at a quarter past twelve noon; and was duly confirmed as a special order at a special meeting of the said Council notified in accordance with the provisions of section 97 of the Counties Act, 1908, and held this day at a quarter past twelve noon in the county offices aforesaid.
