Appointment of Postmasters to take and receive Statutory Declarations for Purposes of War Loan.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
IN pursuance of the powers conferred on me by section two hundred and eighty-eight of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize the Postmasters whose names are set out in the Schedule hereto to take and receive declarations under that Act for any purpose incidental to the raising of the loan authorized by the War Purposes Loan Act, 1917: Provided that no person authorized by this Warrant to take and receive declarations as aforesaid shall take and receive declarations for any purpose other than the purposes specified herein, except pursuant to an authority conferred otherwise than by this Warrant.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this sixteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.
