In the Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42651, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies ; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this ninth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners of the land adjoining the road described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Whangarei County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as closed the road in Ruakaka Survey District described in the Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of a road proclaimed by Proclamation dated the thirteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 26, page 1074, of the twenty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Adjoining or passing through Allotments 327, 389, 109N, Ruarangi Parish.
Situated in Block IX, Ruakaka Survey District. (S.O. 19350.)
In the Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41697, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured green.

Land taken for the Purposes of widening Luxford Street and South Road in the City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for purposes of widening Luxford Street and South Road in the City of Wellington :
And whereas the Wellington City Council has laid before the Governor-General a memorial, accompanied by a map in duplicate, and also the statutory declaration as required by the said Act :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and their amendments, the Wellington City Empowering Act, 1897, the Wellington City Empowering Act, 1899, and the Wellington City Empowering Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of widening the said street and road, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington on and after the date hereinafter mentioned ; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

Stopping Government Roads in Block XV, Punakitere Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof :
And whereas the Government roads described in the Schedule hereto are no longer required for the purpose of roads :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the roads described in the Schedule hereto.
