Lieutenant (temp.) Samuel Mellows is granted the tempo-
rary rank of Captain whilst employed as Assistant Director
of Supplies and Transport, Auckland Military District.

2nd Lieutenant (temp. Lieutenant) Jasper George William
Salt, N.Z. Expeditionary Force, is struck off the strength,
and absorbed with his original rank and seniority-viz.,
