Crown Land set apart for Selection by Discharged Soldiers,
under Ordinary Tenures, in the Southland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section three of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool,
the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described
in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set
apart for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Land Act,
1908.
SCHEDULE.
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—WALLACE COUNTY.—CROWN
LAND.—NATIONAL ENDOWMENT.
SECTION 37, Block VII, Longwood Survey District: Area,
168 acres 2 roods 20 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zea-
land and its Dependencies; and issued under
the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Govern-
ment House at Wellington, this twenty-seventh
day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand
nine hundred and seventeen.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William
de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of
the owners, lessee, and mortgagee of the land described in
the First Schedule hereto, and of the Ekatahuna County
Council, being the local authority in whose district the said
land is situated, proclaim as a road the land described in
the said Schedule; and also do hereby, with the like con-
sents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described
in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required.
