WAITARA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
ELECTRIC-LIGHT LOAN OF £8,000.—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waitara Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of eight thousand pounds (£8,000), authorized to be raised by the Waitara Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of purchasing the right or concession held and enjoyed by William Andrew from the Borough to supply electric light and power, and also the electric-light works and equipment connected therewith, and for all other works and purposes relative thereto, the Waitara Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of forty-one sixty-fourths of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Waitara, comprising the whole of the said borough; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PUKEKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
COPY OF RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE TO PROVIDE INTEREST AND SINKING FUND ON LOAN OF £12,000, PASSED BY THE PUKEKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL ON WEDNESDAY, 17TH JANUARY, 1917.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Pukekohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £12,000, authorized to be raised by the Pukekohe Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for roads and streets improvements, installation of an electric-lighting plant, improvements and additions to borough waterworks, the said Pukekohe Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 7/12 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the Borough of Pukekohe; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each year and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I, Joseph Franklin Deane, Town Clerk, Pukekohe, hereby declare that the above is a true copy of the said resolution.

ONEHUNGA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Onehunga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Onehunga Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the erection of water-filters, the said Onehunga Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/64th of 1d. in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Onehunga; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Council held on the 15th day of January, 1917.
