The Public Trust Office Act, 1908.—Part II, Unclaimed Lands.

SCHEDULE showing all lands vested in the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, Part II, Unclaimed Lands, subsequent to the list published in the New Zealand Gazette dated the 18th June, 1914, page 2433, and during the period subsequent thereto and terminating on the 31st day of March, 1917, with the names of the person or persons believed by the Public Trustee to have any estate or interest therein.

Published in pursuance of section 85 of the said Act.

Unclaimed Property.

WHEREAS Bernard Treacy, late of North Loburn, in the Provincial District of Canterbury, in the Dominion of New Zealand, Farmer, died possessed of certain property, and it is not known who the owners of such property are: And whereas the Public Trustee applied to the Supreme Court for an order under section 87 of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, in respect of such property, and by an order made by the said Supreme Court at Wellington on the 11th day of May, 1917, the Public Trustee was authorized to exercise in respect thereof all the powers set out in paragraphs (a) to (k) inclusive of the said section 87 as amended by section 36 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1913: And whereas such property is situated in the Provincial District of Canterbury:

Now, the Public Trustee hereby gives notice that he proposes to exercise in respect of such property the powers conferred upon him by the said sections.

Dated at Wellington this 19th day of June, 1917.
