Amending Regulations under the War Regulations Act, 1914.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this eighteenth day of June, 1917.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
I, ARTHUR WILLIAM DE BRITO SAVILE, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, and in pursuance of the War Regulations Act, 1914, do hereby amend in the manner set forth in the Schedule hereto the War Regulations of the sixteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, relating to the protection of soldiers against judicial and other process.
SCHEDULE.
- The consent of the Attorney-General under the aforesaid regulations of the 16th day of March, 1917, shall be given only on the recommendation of a Stipendiary Magistrate, and every application for such consent shall be accompanied by the written recommendation of a Stipendiary Magistrate accordingly.
