The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1908.—Notice of Proposed Cancellation of Registry.

N OTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the New Zealand Federated Tinsmiths and Sheet Metal Workers Industrial Association of Workers, registered number 755, situated at Dunedin, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred upon me by section 21 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1908, it is my intention to cancel the registration of that industrial association after the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.

Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—Declaration by the Registrar dissolving a Society.

I, ROBERT EDWARD HAYES, Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the Otago and Southland I.C.S. Students’ Association (Incorporated) is no longer carrying on its operations and has no assets, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved, in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

T HE Westport Harbour Board have notified that the pile-driving derrick lately being used on Western Breakwater seawards of the signal-station has now been removed.
