Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION NO. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Motatau 3c No. 2 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Kawakawa on Wednesday, the 13th day of September, 1916, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That part of the said land, containing 20 acres and 3 roods, be sold to John Alexander Cameron, of Tuhipa, Kawakawa, for the sum of £5 per acre, or the amount of a special Government valuation, whichever be the greater.”

REGULATION NO. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Waikare No. 17 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Hikurangi on Monday, the 11th day of September, 1916, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the said land be sold to George Reed Harrison, of Whangarei, at the price of Government valuation (£1,000). Sale is subject to timber-cutting license granted to Waitemata Sawmilling Company (Limited).”

THE Maori Land Board for the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Waitakaruru 1B No. 2 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Thames on Thursday, the 14th day of September, 1916, at 4 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the land be sold to the Crown for the sum of £2 per acre.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Rawhitiroa B No. 2 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Thames on Thursday, the 14th day of September, 1916, at 4 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the land be sold to the Crown for the sum of £355.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Kopuarahi 3D No. 2 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Paeroa on Friday, the 15th day of September, 1916, at 9.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the land be sold to John Whitmore for the sum of £30 per acre.”

“That the land be sold to John Albert Endean for the amount of the Government valuation.”

REGULATION NO. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Maungatautari 4B 3 and 6, Section 2, will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Morrinsville on Friday, the 15th day of September, 1916, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:—

“(1.) That the land be leased to Cecil McDavitt for a term of forty-two years at annual rental of 3s. per acre during the first twenty-one years, and 5 per cent. on the unimproved value during the next twenty-one years.

“(2.) That the land be sold to Cecil McDavitt for the sum of £3 per acre.”

“That the land be sold to Richard Hannon for the sum of £2 10s. per acre.”
