NATIVE LAND COURT NOTICES.

Sitting of the Native Appellate Court at Kawakawa.

Office of the Tokerau Native Land Court, Auckland, 17th August, 1916.

NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Native Appellate Court will be held at Kawakawa on the 6th day of September, 1916, to hear and determine the appeals against the decisions of the Native Land Court set forth in the Schedule hereto.

All persons interested in the said appeals are hereby notified to attend at the time and place aforesaid.

APPEAL AGAINST DECISION OF THE NATIVE LAND COURT.

1 The Crown Solicitor, Auckland (on behalf of the Public Works Department) Otuihi 1 and 2 and Kohewhata Decision dated 4th November, 1914, assessing amount of compensation which ought to be paid to the Native owners of these lands under the Public Works Act, 1908.

  1. Application by the Chief Judge, under section 24 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916, to report upon the petition of Karaka Rutene and twenty-nine others, praying for an inquiry re sale and partition of Manukau Block.

NOTE.—After hearing evidence tendered at Kawakawa the Court will adjourn to Ahipara to hear further evidence (if any) tendered there, and to inspect the land affected by the petition above referred to.

Office of the Ikaroa District Native Land Court, Wellington, 22nd August, 1916.

NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Native Land Court will be held at Wellington on the 2nd day of September, 1916, to hear and determine the matters mentioned in the Schedule hereunder written, in respect of which applications have been received by the Registrar, and all such other matters as may be lawfully brought before it.
