Declaring Portion of Waitemena Road, in the Waitomo County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-first day of August, 1916.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the Waitemena Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Waitomo County, commencing at the north-western corner of Section 8, Block VI, Aria Survey District, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction generally, adjoining or passing through Sections 7, 6, and 12 (scenery reserve) 2, Block VI, and Sections 6 and 16 (scenery reserve), Block II, to its junction with the Kickie Road; being a distance of three miles and a half, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 39141, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Paremoremo Block Roads in the Waitemata County, Blocks II, III, and VI, Waitemata Survey District, to be County Roads.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county roads.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road, in the Auckland Land District, Waitemata County, known as Sunnyside Road, commencing at the south-western corner of Section 208, Paremoremo Parish, and proceeding in an easterly and north-easterly direction generally, adjoining or passing through Sections 208, 209, 67, 236, 237, 239, 240, 234, 241, 242, 243, Paremoremo Parish, Block VI, Waitemata Survey District, and terminating at the southern boundary of Section 81, Paremoremo Parish, in the said Block VI, Waitemata Survey District; being a distance of 1 mile 45 chains, more or less, and marked A B L.

Also all that portion of road in the said land district and county, known as Albany—Riverhead Range Road, commencing at its junction with Sunnyside Road, and proceeding in a south-easterly, northerly, and north-easterly direction generally, adjoining or passing through Sections 239, 240, 250, 251, 249, 252, 248, 247, 253, 246, 14, 245, 244, 254, 288, 232, 287A, 287, 286, 285, Paremoremo Parish, Block VI, Waitemata Survey District; Sections 231, 229, Paremoremo Parish, Block III, Waitemata Survey District; Section 284, Paremoremo Parish, Blocks VI and III, Waitemata Survey District; and Sections 280, 279, 228, 278, 227, 226, 277, 225, Paremoremo Parish, Block III, Waitemata Survey District; being a distance of 4 miles 70 chains, more or less, and marked B G H I.

Also all that portion of road in the said land district and county, known as Montgomery Road, commencing at the south-eastern boundary of Section 81, Paremoremo Parish, and proceeding in a south-easterly direction generally, adjoining or passing through Sections 287, 287A, Paremoremo Parish, Block VI, Waitemata Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Albany—Riverhead Range Road, being a distance of twenty-five chains, more or less, and marked K G.

Also all that portion of road in the said land district and county, known as Trig Road, commencing at its junction with Sunnyside Road, and proceeding in a southerly, easterly, and south-easterly direction generally, adjoining or passing through Section Reserve, and Sections 255, 256, 259, 262, 264, 268, 271, 272, 282, 281, Paremoremo Parish, Block II, Waitemata Survey District, and Sections 279, 280, Paremoremo Parish, Block III, Waitemata Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Albany—Riverhead Range Road; being a distance of 2 miles 12 chains, more or less, and marked D H.

Also all that portion of road in the said land district and county, known as Mahoenui Road, commencing at its junction with Sunnyside Road, and proceeding in an easterly and south-easterly direction generally, adjoining or passing through Section Reserve, and Sections 78, 257, 261, 263, Paremoremo Parish, Block II, Waitemata Survey District, and Sections 265, 267, 269, 270, 277, 275, 276, Paremoremo Parish, Block III, Waitemata Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Albany—Riverhead Range Road; being a distance of 1 mile 56 chains, more or less, and marked E I.

Also all that portion of road in the said land district and county, known as Heron Road, commencing at its junction with the Albany—Riverhead Range Road, and proceeding in an easterly, north-easterly, and south-easterly direction generally, adjoining or passing through Sections 225, 215, and 201, Paremoremo Parish, Block III, Waitemata Survey District, and terminating at the eastern boundary of the said Section 201; being a distance of seventy chains, more or less, and marked I J.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 40676, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Extending Time for closing Polls, Hikurangi Town District.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-first day of August, 1916.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908, as amended by the Local Elections and Polls Amendment Act, 1913, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby extend the hour at which all polls to be held and taken in the Hikurangi Town District shall close to seven o’clock in the afternoon of the day appointed.
