Appointing Commissioners to classify Pastoral Runs in Canterbury Land District.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the two-hundred-and-twenty-fifth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
WILLIAM HENRY SKINNER,
JAMES STEVENSON, and
THOMAS GEORGE GEE
Commissioners to classify and report to me upon the rural lands in the Canterbury Land District known as Runs Nos. 141, 100, 104, 149, 142, 144, 169, 167, and 168, as provided by the said section two hundred and twenty-five.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twelfth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Part of Tukituki River to be a Sanctuary for Imported and Native Game.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
PURSUANT to the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a sanctuary for the purposes of the said Animals Protection Act, and that no imported or native game shall be taken or killed in the said area.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, being the bed of the Tukituki River, extending from a line running from the mouth of the Mangangara Stream to the road at the south-western corner of Sections 9 and 15 in the Te Mata Survey District, generally south-westerly to a point situated in Block 14, where the Tukituki River enters the gorge opposite Kuriwharau Bush.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventeenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Arrangements for First Election, &c., Otorohanga Town District, County of Waitomo.

CHARLES JAMES JOHNSON, of Otorohanga,
to be Returning Officer for the purpose of conducting the first election of five members of the Board of Commissioners of the Otorohanga Town District as constituted under the Town Boards Act, 1908; also to appoint Thursday, the 10th day of August, 1916, to be the date, and the Otorohanga Municipal Chamber, Otorohanga, to be the place, at which the said first election shall be held; also to appoint Monday, the 14th day of August, 1916, at 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon, to be the time, and the Otorohanga Municipal Chamber, Otorohanga, to be the place, at which the first meeting of the Board of Commissioners so elected shall be held.
