Stopping a Government Road in Block VII, Karioi Survey
District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred
and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it
is enacted that the Governor may, by Proclamation publicly
notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road
or any part thereof:
And whereas the Government road described in the
Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of
a road:
Now, therefore: I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act,
and of all other powers in anyway enabling me in this
behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road described in
the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road hereby stopped:
3 acres 0 roods 28 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Section 1 and Crown land,
Block VII, Karioi Survey District (S.O. 1888).
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 40202,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile.
Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand
and its Dependencies; and issued under
the Seal of the said Dominion at the Government
House at Wellington, this seventeenth day
of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine
hundred and sixteen.

Amendments in the Regulations relating to the Constitution of
the New Education Districts.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth day
of July, 1916
Present :
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in him by the Education Act, 1914, as amended
by the Education Amendment Act, 1915 (No. 2), His Excell-
lency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the amendments
shown in the Schedule hereto in the regulations relating to
the constitution of the new education districts made by Order
in Council on the nineteenth day of June, one thousand nine
hundred and sixteen; and doth prescribe that this Order
shall come into force on the date of the first publication
hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
CLAUSE 7 of the said regulations is hereby amended by
omitting the proviso contained in the second sentence of the
clause, and substituting therefor the following : "Provided
that where the principal office of an old Board is situated in
the chief town of a new education district, and the whole of
the district of the old Board is included in such new district,
the information herein prescribed shall not be required."

Declaring Portion of Opotea Road, in the Ohura County, to be
a County Road.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth
day of July, 1916.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
a county road.
SCHEDULE.
All that portion of the Opotea Road, in the Taranaki Land
District, Ohura County, commencing at its junction with
the Kururau Road, and proceeding thence in a southerly
direction, adjoining or passing through part Section part K
No. l, Block XV, Ohura Survey District; being a distance
of forty-three chains, more or less. As the said portion of
road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 39114, deposited in the office of the Minister of
Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial
District, and thereon coloured white.

Cook County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth
day of July, 1916.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other
powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excell-
lency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that
the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
a county road.
