Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this tenth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Additional Land in Waikohu Survey District taken for the Purposes of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Gisborne Southwards).

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Gisborne Southwards) to take further land in Waikohu Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirteen, twenty-nine, and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—
A. R. P.
11 0 36, portion of Okahuatiu No. 1D.2B 4C, Block XI; coloured green.
50 0 25, portion of Sec. 2, Block XV; coloured purple.
0 3 1, portion of Sec. 4, Block XV; coloured green.
Situated in Waikohu Survey District (Poverty Bay R.D.).
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 40249, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Land in Block XIII, Coleridge Survey District, set apart for the Development of the Lake Coleridge Water-power Scheme.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is Crown land, and is required to be set apart for the development of the Lake Coleridge water-power scheme in Block XIII, Coleridge Survey District:
And whereas by section twenty-one of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that whenever any Crown land is required to be set apart for any public work the Governor may at any time by Proclamation set the same apart for such public work without complying with any of the provisions of that Act in respect of the taking or setting-apart of other lands for such purpose:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the development of the Lake Coleridge water-power scheme; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fourth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 3 roods 16 perches.
Adjoining or passing through R.S. 30100, Block XIII, Coleridge Survey District.
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 33552, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this thirteenth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

And whereas by section twenty-one of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that whenever any Crown land is required to be set apart for any public work the Governor may at any time by Proclamation set the same apart for such public work without complying with any of the provisions of that Act in respect of the taking or setting-apart of other lands for such purpose:
