Land set apart for Selection.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section sixty-three of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is, amongst other things, enacted that in no case shall any moneys be expended under the provisions of the said section sixty-three in connection with any block of land, unless that block is set apart for selection under that section pursuant to Proclamation in that behalf:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the aforesaid Act, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for selection.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Mangawhara Additional Block.

SECTIONS 3, 4, 5, and 8, Block VIII, Hapuakohe Survey District: Area, 1,369 acres 1 rood.

As the same is delineated upon the plan marked L. and S. 5/75, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this tenth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Land proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Block I, Colville Survey District, Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the lessees and mortgagees of the lands described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Coromandel County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, proclaim as a road the lands described in the said Schedule; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington.

Land in Otago Land District declared to be subject to Section 127 of the Land Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Land Board of the Otago Land District has recommended that the Crown tenant of the land described in the Schedule hereto should be afforded relief, owing to exceptional circumstances over which she has no control preventing the profitable occupation of such land:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section twenty-five of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1911, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-seven of the Land Act, 1908; and I do further fix two years from the date mentioned in the said Schedule as the period for which the said land shall be exempt from payment of rent.

SCHEDULE.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 19, Block XIV, Rimu Survey District: 1st January, 1915.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this tenth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Additional Land at Smart Road taken for the Purposes of the Foxton—New Plymouth Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Foxton—New Plymouth Railway to take further land at Smart Road, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
