Authorizing the Exchange of Settlement Land in the Wellington Land District for other Land.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
WHEREAS by section seventy-two of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time exchange any settlement land for any other land, and may on such exchange pay or receive any sum by way of equality of exchange:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to exchange the settlement land described in Part I of the Schedule hereto for the land described in Part II of the said Schedule, and the owner of the land described in the second part of the said Schedule has agreed to such exchange:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said section seventy-two, do hereby authorize the exchange of the settlement land described in Part I of the Schedule hereto for the land described in Part II of the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
PART I.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 14 acres 3 roods 7 perches, more or less, being Section No. 4, Block V, Wainuioru Survey District, Longbush Settlement. Bounded towards the north-east generally by Ngawaka-a-Kupe 4c Block, 2217·5 links and 822·3 links; towards the south-east, south-west, and north-west generally by Section No. 2, Block V aforesaid, 100 links, 537·1 links, 202·9 links, 1096·7 links, and 161·2 links, and by the Wainuioru Valley Road.
PART II.
All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods, more or less, being part of Ngawaka-a-Kupe 4c Block. Bounded towards the north-east generally by Wainuioru River; towards the south-west by Section No. 2, Block V, Wainuioru Survey District, 788·1 links; and towards the north-west by other part of Ngawaka-a-Kupe 4c Block, 138 links and 280 links.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the said areas are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26/5/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered respectively red and green.

Notifying Lands in Wellington Land District for Sale by Public Auction.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Land in Block IV, Oamaru Survey District, Otago Land District, set apart for a Rifle Range.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
WHEREAS by the eighty-eighth section of the Defence Act, 1909, it is, inter alia, enacted that the Governor may from time to time set apart any Crown land for permanent training-grounds, or for rifle or artillery practice, or for the erection of drill-sheds or other buildings necessary for military purposes, or for the erection of butts, ranges, and other accommodation for the use of the Defence Forces:
And whereas the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is required for the purpose of a rifle range:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto for a rifle range.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by estimation 34 acres, more or less, being a portion of the beach adjoining part of Block IV, Oamaru Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the south boundary of Section 55, Block IV, Oamaru Survey District, distance approximately 800 links from the south-east corner
