Declaring certain Area added to the County of Eketauna to
be included in Alfredton Riding thereof.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth
day of March, one thousand nine hundred and six-
teen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirtieth
day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, the
boundaries of the Counties of Castlepoint and Eketauna
were altered by the exclusion of a certain area from the
County of Castlepoint and the inclusion of such area in the
County of Eketauna: And whereas it is desirable that the
area so added to the County of Eketauna should be included
in the Alfredton Riding of that county:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me
by section twenty-two of the Counties Act, 1908, do hereby
declare that the area included as aforesaid in the County of
Eketauna shall be included in the Alfredton Riding of the
said county, and that the boundaries of that riding shall be
those set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALFREDTON RIDING, EKETAHUNA COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Eketauna County bounded towards
the north-east generally by Akitio County from the summit
of the Puketoi Range to Castlepoint County; thence towards
the south-east generally by Castlepoint County to Masterton
County; thence towards the south generally by Masterton
and Mauriceville Counties to the south-eastern boundary of
Section 75, Block XV, Mangaone Survey District; thence
towards the west generally by Section 75, Block XV, Sec-
tions 41, 44, 25, the crossing of a road and Section 6, Block XI,
Sections 39, 41, the crossing of a road, 30, 30A, and 30B, Block
VII, Section 1, Block VIII, and the north-western side of
Pa Valley Road to Section 175; thence by the southern
and western boundaries of the said Section 175 to the southern
boundary of Pahiatua County; and thence towards the north
by that county to Akitio County, the place of commencement.

Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zea-
land and its Dependencies; and issued under
the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Govern-
ment House at Wellington, this eleventh day of
May, in the year of our Lord one thousand
nine hundred and sixteen.

to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Wel-
ington Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liver-
pool, Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown land described
in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set
apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease
to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner
provided in the said Act.
