to any block, section, or subdivision of land comprised in
leases granted or confirmed under the West Coast Settlement
Reserves Act, 1881, and the amendments thereof:

And whereas it is expedient that the provisions of section
one hundred and nine aforesaid shall apply to the land
mentioned in the Schedule hereto, for the purchase of which
the Crown desires to negotiate:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
power and authority conferred upon him by section twenty-
three of the West Coast Settlement Reserves Amendment
Act, 1913, and acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
declare that the provisions of section one hundred and nine
of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, shall apply to
the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

Declaring Land to be no longer subject to Part XIV of the

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-
seventh day of April, 1916.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section ninety-six of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that the Governor in Council may from time to time by Order in Council declare that any land subject to Part XIV or XV of the Native Land Act, 1909, and vested in a Maori Land Board, shall no longer be subject to such Parts of that Act, and shall be revested in the Native owners thereof:

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto and known as the Ruapekapeka No. 7G Block is now, by virtue of an Order in Council made on the third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and by virtue of the provisions of section two hundred and thirty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, subject to Part XIV of the said Act, and vested in the Tokerau District Maori Land Board accordingly:

And whereas the Governor is satisfied that the said land is not subject to any lease, license, contract for sale, or other alienation, and that no moneys are charged on the said land or on the revenue thereof in accordance with the said Act or under any other authority:

And whereas it is expedient that the said land should cease to be subject to Part XIV of the said Act:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section ninety-six of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall no longer be subject to Part XIV of the Native Land Act, 1909.

SCHEDULE.

ALL those parcels of land in two pieces, together containing by admeasurement 140 acres 2 roods 12 perches, more or less, situated in the Hukerenui Survey District, in the Land District of Auckland, and known as Ruapekapeka No. 7G Block, the north-western portion being bounded towards the north by the Huiarau Block; towards the east generally by a road, the crossing of a road, Ruapekapeka No. 7E Block, and a road; towards the south generally by Ruapekapeka No. 7B Block, the crossing of a road, and Ruapekapeka No. 7F Block; and towards the north-west by Section 1 of Block I, Hukerenui Survey District: save and excepting a road intersecting the land herein described, the south-eastern portion being bounded towards the north by Ruapekapeka No. 7D Block, towards the east by Ruapekapeka No. 5 Block, and towards the west by a road.

And whereas the Governor is satisfied that the said land is not subject to any lease, license, contract for sale, or other alienation, and that no moneys are charged on the said land or on the revenue thereof in accordance with the said Act or under any other authority:

And whereas it is expedient that the said land should cease to be subject to Part XIV of the said Act:

ALL that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 350 acres, more or less, situated in the Whangaroa Survey District, in the Land District of Auckland, and known as the Whangaihe No. 3 Block. Bounded towards the north-east generally by the ocean and Whangaihe Nos. 2 and 1 Blocks, towards the south-east by the Wainui No. 2 Block, towards the south-west by Crown land, and towards the north-west by Kairawaru Block.
