CHAS. RATJEN (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that the subjoined resolution of CHAS. RATJEN (LIMITED), intended to operate as special resolution, was passed on the twenty-first day of March, 1916, in manner provided by subsection (6) of section 168 of the Companies Act, 1908.
RESOLUTION.
That it is desirable to reconstruct the company, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that ALFRED BARTLETT, of Auckland, Manufacturer, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL.
Motor Regulation Act, 1908.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given, in accordance with section 13 of the Motor Regulation Act, 1908, that the Whangarei County Council decided, by resolution passed at its meeting held on Friday, the 10th day of March, 1915, to bring into operation in its district "Part 2" of the aforementioned Act, the same to come into force on the 17th day of April, 1916. And notice is hereby further given that after the said 17th day of April, 1916, any motor-car, motor-wagon, or motor-cycle not otherwise registered, but owned or used in the Whangarei County, must be registered with the said Whangarei County Council at their offices, Bank Street, Whangarei.

Whether in active operation or not : In active operation. Where business is conducted, and name of Attorney : Hokitika ; James Park. Where mine is situate : Hohonu. Nominal capital : £25,000. Amount of capital subscribed : £22,500. Amount of capital actually paid up in cash in New Zealand : £3,570. Price paid to vendors of mine-(a.) In fully paid-up shares : 20,000 held by company pending settlement. (b.) In cash : £5,000. Number of shares into which capital is divided : 100,000. Number of shares on New Zealand Register : Nil. Amount paid per share (New Zealand Register) : Nil. Amount called up per share (New Zealand Register) : Nil. Number and amount of calls in arrear (New Zealand Register) : Nil. Number of forfeited shares on New Zealand Register sold, and money received for same : Nil. Number of shareholders on New Zealand Register : Nil. I, James Park, of Hokitika, the Attorney of the Hohonu Diamond Terrace Gold-mining and Water-race Company (Limited), do solemnly and sincerely declare that this is a true and complete statement of the affairs of the said company as on the 21st December, 1915 (being the date of the last balance-sheet); and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.

In the matter of the MAY OATWAY SYNDICATE (LIMITED). NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at the registered office of the company, Bond Street, Dunedin, on the first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, the subjoined resolutions were duly passed, and at an extraordinary general meeting of the said company also duly convened and held at the same place on the twenty-second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, the said resolutions were duly confirmed.
The following are the resolutions referred to :-
- That the syndicate be wound up voluntarily.
- That WILLIAM ERIC REYNOLDS be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of the winding-up of the company; and that his remuneration for acting as such Liquidator be fixed at thirty pounds sterling (£30), subject to revision should the work entailed necessitate it.
