DIRECTIONS.
The number of candidates to be elected is [Specify the number].
The voter must draw a line through the name of every candidate for whom he does not intend to vote, and the number of candidates whose names are left uncancelled must not exceed the total number of candidates to be elected.
The voting-paper must be posted or delivered to the Returning Officer in a closed envelope, bearing on the outside the word “Voting-paper.”
The voting-paper, if delivered to the Returning Officer, shall be delivered at the office of the Board before the day of the election, or not later than five o’clock in the afternoon of the day of the election; and, if posted to him, shall be posted to him not later than the day of election.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve for Travelling Stock in the Rangitikei County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fifteenth day of February, 1916.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently set apart as a reserve for travelling stock: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Rangitikei County Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section two of the Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act, 1914, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Rangitikei County Council.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 3 roods 6 perches, more or less, being Section No. 1, Block XVI, Maungakaretu Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 20, Block XVI, Maungakaretu Survey District, 764·9 links; towards the north-east by Section No. 32, Block XVI aforesaid, 1106·4 links; towards the south-east and south generally by Murray’s Track and by Rongoiti Road: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/15A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Vesting a Reserve in the Geraldine County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this eighth day of February, 1916.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for an intake for a water-race: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Geraldine County:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section four of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Geraldine County, in trust, as a reserve for an intake for a water-race.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 1 rood, more or less, being Reserve 3968, situated in Block IV, Opihi Survey District, and bounded as follows: On the north by the Haehae-te-Moana River; on the south-east by Reserves 3063 and 2956, 703·2 links; on the south-west by Dawe’s Road, 688 links; and on the north-west by Section 33122, 250 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. VI/1 (108), deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring a certain Area near Te Kuiti to be a Sanctuary for Imported and Native Game.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
PURSUANT to the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be a sanctuary for the purposes of the said Animals Protection Act, and that no imported or native game shall be taken or killed within the said area.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Waiteti and Mangaokewa Streams, in Block IV, Otanake Survey District; thence along the latter stream to Section 1, Block V, Pakau-manu Survey District; along the western boundary of that section and the southern boundary of the part of the Rangitoto-Tuhua Block held by Mr. Albert Abbiss to Section 5, Block VIII, Otanake Survey District; thence along the eastern boundary of that section and that boundary produced to the Mokau River; along the right bank of that river to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 2, Block VIII aforesaid; thence to and along the said western boundary along the southern and south-western boundaries of Pukenui No. 2K Block and the south-western boundaries of Pukenui Nos. 2K and 2H Blocks to the Awakino–Te Kuiti Road; along that road to Pukenui No. 2N Block; along the southern boundary of that block and its production to the railway-line; thence along the railway-line to the Waiteti Stream, and along that stream to its confluence with the Mangaokewa Stream, the place of commencement.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this nineteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Removing Protection from certain Imported Birds.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the imported birds mentioned in the Schedule hereto, not being game of any kind under the said Act, may be taken or killed within the Hawke’s Bay Acclimatization District for the period ending on 22nd May, 1916.
