Vesting a Reserve in the Otangiwai Hall Society
(Incorporated).
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fourth day
of January, 1916.
Present :
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been duly set apart as a site for a public hall :
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient
to vest the said reserve in the Otangiwai Hall Society
(Incorporated) :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and
Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and
after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in
the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Otangiwai
Hall Society (Incorporated), in trust, for a site for a public
hall.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by
admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being Section 37,
Block XV, Aria Survey District. Bounded towards the
north and north-east by Section 7, Block XII, Aria Survey
District, 202·3 links and 242·9 links respectively; towards
the south-east by the Ohura–Mokau Road, 166·4 links; and
towards the south-west by Section 29, Block XV aforesaid,
357·6 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the
same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1913/1643,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

Inhabitants of the Cook County :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the

and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains
Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing
by admeasurement 10 acres 3 roods, more or less, being
Section 5, Block II, Turanganui Survey District. Bounded
towards the north by the Taruheru River; towards the east
by the Matawhero B or 5 Block, 835·6 links; towards the
south by a public road, 68·3, 50·1, and 982·5 links; and
towards the west by a domain reserve, 1079·9 links: be all
the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated
on the plan marked L. and S. 2/27, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Christchurch
Racecourse Reserve Act, 1878, I, Arthur William de
Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion
of New Zealand do hereby appoint
CHARLES CONNERMAN DALGETY
to be a member of the Board of Trustees constituted under
the said Act by the name of “The Trustees of the Christ-
church Racecourse.” in the room of Mr. F. H. Pyne, deceased.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this ninth day of January, one thousand nine
hundred and sixteen.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in the Suburbs of Pohangina,
Wellington Land District.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been duly set apart for a public cemetery, being
a reserve within Class I of the Second Schedule of the Public
Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, and such land has not
been vested in trust in any society, body corporate, or
trustees :
And whereas it is expedient that such land should be
appropriated for a public recreation-ground, being a reserve
within Class III of the aforesaid Act :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me
by the eleventh section of the Public Reserves and Domains
Act, 1908, do by this notification declare that the said land
shall, from and after the thirteenth day of January, one thou-
sand nine hundred and sixteen, be appropriated for a public
recreation-ground under Class III of the Public Reserves
and Domains Act, 1908; and I do hereby direct that this
notification shall be published in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing
by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Suburban
Section 32A, Town of Pohangina. Bounded towards the
north-west and north-east generally by a public road, 291·1
links, 362·7 links, 382·6 links, and 241·5 links; towards the
south-east by Suburban Section 32B, Town of Pohangina,
725·9 links; and towards the south-west by a public road,
789·2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As
the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 11/31,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this tenth day of January, one thousand nine hun-
dred and sixteen.

Land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, temporarily reserved
for Acclimatization Purposes.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first
section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that
the Governor may from time to time, either by general or
particular description, and whether the same has been
surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwith-
standing that the same may be then held under pastoral
license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required
for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily
reserve from sale the land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District
described in the Schedule hereunder written, for acclimatiza-
tion purposes.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing
by admeasurement 13 acres 2 roods, more or less, being
Section No. 72, Block XIV, Norsewood Survey District
Bounded towards the north-east by Section 71, Block XIV,
