(a.) For any breach which in the opinion of the Governor can be met by a fine, for thirty days after the service of such notice.
(b.) For any breach which in the opinion of the Governor is of such a nature as to require the revocation of this license, for ninety days after the service of such notice.
- VARIATION IN CONDITIONS OF LICENSE.
The terms and conditions of this license may at any time or from time to time, at the request or with the consent in writing of the licensee, be altered by the Governor by Order in Council.
- SURRENDER OF LICENSE.
The licensee may at any time, with the consent of the Minister, surrender this license, and shall thereupon, if so required by the Minister, remove from the ground all removable equipment, machinery, buildings, poles, transmission-lines, and other plant herein authorized to be installed or provided. If the licensee fails or neglects so to remove the said plant within twelve months after being required so to do, such equipment, machinery, buildings, poles, lines, and other plant shall, without payment or compensation, vest in and become the property of the Crown.
- CHARGES FOR ELECTRIC ENERGY.
The charge for electrical energy shall not exceed 1s. per unit for lighting purposes, and 4d. per unit for motor-power, heating, or cooking purposes; provided that “lighting purposes” shall include the operation of motor generators for lighting purposes.
- AREA OF SUPPLY.
The area of supply comprises the Borough of Inglewood as at present constituted.
- SYSTEM OF SUPPLY.
The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (e) of clause 2 of the regulations.
The generating voltage shall be approximately 3,200 volts between the terminals.
- DATUM TEMPERATURE.
For the purposes of calculating stresses as provided in clause 12 of the regulations, the datum temperature shall be taken as twelve degrees Fahrenheit.
- NOTICES re EXTENSIONS, ETC.
Records of results of tests (Regulation 37), and notices re commencement of work (Regulation 44) and re extensions and alterations (Regulation 49), should be sent to the Under-Secretary, Public Works Department, Wellington, and to the Telegraph Engineer of the district, or his deputy, at present stationed at New Plymouth.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fourth day of December, 1916.

THE HONOURABLE J. ALLEN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section twelve of the War Funds Act, 1915 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor may, by Order in Council gazetted, incorporate a society possessing a war fund, or the trustees of such fund: And whereas application, in writing addressed to the Minister, has been made by the Otago Patriotic and General Welfare Association (being a society possessing a war fund), praying for the incorporation of that association:
And whereas it is considered desirable to grant such application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the association known as the Otago Patriotic and General Welfare Association is hereby incorporated for the purposes of the said Act as from the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, and shall be known as the “Otago Patriotic and General Welfare Association.”

Lands temporarily reserved in the Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, and Otago Land Districts.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, and Otago Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 3 roods 27 perches, more or less, being Section 23, Block I, Waihou Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Orchard Road, 478 links; towards the east by a road along the Piako River, 305·5 and 416·8 links; towards the south by Section 24, Block I, Waihou Survey District, 650·3 links; and towards the west by Section 41, Block I aforesaid, 700·2 links: be all these aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/112, deposited at the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plan No. 15911.) For a site for a public school.
HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 6·6 perches, more or less, being Section 13, Town of Motu Extension No. 1. Bounded towards the north-west by Section 12, said Town of Motu Extension No. 1, 315·99 links; towards the north-east by Section 11, said Town of Motu Extension No. 1, 129·47 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 235·56 and 454·46 links respectively; and towards the south-west by the Opo-tiki Road, 456·92 and 226·98 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1912/1084A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green. For a resting-place for travelling stock.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 39 perches, more or less, being Section 18A, Elderslie No. 2 Settlement, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the northern corner of the junction of Burnside Road and Pine Hill Road; thence by Burnside Road, 313° 35′, 331·1 links; by Section 11A, 40° 4′, 297·8 links, 133° 6′, 331·7 links, to Pine Hill Road; by said road, 219° 48′, 301·1 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/18, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a site for a public school.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 11 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section 59, Block IX, Oamaru District. Bounded towards the north-east generally by public roads, 235 links and 1740 links; towards the south by Crown lands, 1442 links; and towards the north-west by the Kakanui River bed, 1699·1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/1709, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Camping-ground for fishermen and other persons.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being Allotment 60A, Steward Settlement. Bounded towards the north-east by the Waitaki River Reserve, 690 links; towards the east by Section 12, Block VIII, Papakaio District, 1701·5 links; towards the south by a public road, 515·7 links; and towards the west by Allotment 59A of aforesaid Steward Settlement, 2154·3 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/1709A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Camping-ground for fishermen and other persons.
