Amending Order in Council relating to the Exportation of Butter and Cheese.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of November, 1916.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the thirteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the authority conferred on him by section forty-seven of the Customs Act, 1913, and section twenty-four of the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Act, 1914, prohibited the exportation of butter and cheese from New Zealand, to the extent and subject to the conditions set out in the Schedule to the said Order in Council: And whereas it is expedient that the said Order in Council should be amended in the manner hereinafter set forth:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the authority conferred upon him by section forty-seven of the Customs Act, 1913, and section twenty-four of the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Act, 1914, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order in Council hereinbefore referred to in the manner set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
No export license under the Order in Council hereinbefore referred to shall be granted to any company, firm, or person unless that company, firm, or person has, on or before the eighteenth day of December, 1916, made application in writing to the licensing authority for the grant of such license, and has executed the agreement with the licensing authority as required by clause 12 of the Schedule to the said Order in Council.
