Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Okahuatiu 1A 3 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Gisborne on Friday, the 22nd day of December, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“‘That a lease of the Okahuatiu 1A 3 Block be given to Pomare Horsfall, of Ngatapa, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of not less than 5 per cent. per annum on the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. per annum of the then Government unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements in the event of the renewal not being taken. Lease to contain the usual covenants.’”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Rakaiketeroa E No. 2 is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Gisborne on Friday, the 22nd day of December, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“‘That the said Rakaiketeroa E No. 2 Block be leased to Edna Gardner Manuel, wife of M. D. Manuel, of Te Karaka, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of not less than 5 per cent. per annum of the present Government valuation of the said land, together with a right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at an annual rental equal to 5 per centum of the then unimproved Government valuation of the said land.’”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Manukawhitikitiki 1A 3 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Gisborne on Friday, the 22nd day of December, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“‘That a proposed sale of Manukawhitikitiki 1A 3 Block to Charles Eardley Wilmot Parker at the Government valuation of the owners’ interest shall be agreed to.’”

THE Maori Land Board for the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Onewhero No. 99B will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Auckland on Tuesday, the 12th day of December, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“‘That the land be sold to Mary Muir for the sum of £4 per acre.’”

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Horahora 2B No. 3 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Whangarei on Monday, the 11th day of December, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“‘That the said land be sold to William McKenzie Fraser, of Whangarei, settler, at £3 per acre.’”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Motatau 50 No. 1 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Kaikohe on Friday, the 8th day of December, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“‘That the said land be sold to Hugh W. Brown at Government valuation.’”

“‘That the said land be sold to Hugh W. Brown at special Government valuation.’”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Motatau 50 3 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Kaikohe, on Friday, the 8th day of December, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“‘That the said land be sold to Hugh W. Brown at special Government valuation; or, in the alternative

“‘That the said land be leased to the said Hugh William Brown for fifty years at 5 per cent. on the amount of special Government valuation for the first twenty-five years and 10 per cent. for remaining twenty-five years.’”
