Boundaries of Upper Hutt Town District, County of Hutt, enlarged.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twenty-sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the second day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eight, the Town District of Upper Hutt was duly constituted and proclaimed under the Town Boards Act, 1908, with the boundaries described in the Schedule to the said Proclamation:
And whereas it is expedient to enlarge the boundaries of the said town district in the manner hereinafter set forth, and which said enlargement does not exceed the limits prescribed by the said Act for the area of a town district:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the said Town Boards Act, 1908, do hereby enlarge the said Town District of Upper Hutt by adding thereto the area described in the First Schedule hereto, and do declare that on and after the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, the boundaries of the said town district shall be those described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA EXCLUDED FROM HUTT COUNTY AND INCLUDED IN UPPER HUTT TOWN DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, being part of Section 98B in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west and north-east by the present boundary of the Upper Hutt Town District, towards the south-east by Lot l of Section 98B aforesaid and the Wellington-Wairarapa Railway line, and towards the south-west by Section 99.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
UPPER HUTT TOWN DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by the Hutt River from the northernmost corner of Original Section 92 to the north-eastern corner of Original Section 121; thence towards the east generally by
the eastern and southern boundaries of the last-mentioned section and the eastern boundary of Original Section 217 to its south-eastern corner; thence towards the south generally by the southern boundaries of Original Sections 217, 128, 127, 126, and 125 to the road forming the south-western boundary of the last-mentioned section, and by that road to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Lot 1 of Section 98B, across the road by the said Lot 1 and the railway reserve to Section 99; thence towards the south-west by Sections 99 and 95 to and across the main road; thence towards the north-west by the north-western side of that road to the eastern-most corner of Section 92 aforesaid; and thence towards the south-west by that section to the Hutt River, the place of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this sixteenth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the lessee of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Waimate County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land described in the said Schedule.
