IT is hereby notified that, in consequence of the departure of Mr. E. H. Northcroft on active service, the legal practices conducted by him and by Mr. P. Feeney and Mr. J. Robertson at Ngaruawahia and Huntly are dissolved to the extent of the withdrawal therefrom of the said Mr. E. H. Northcroft, as from the date hereof.

WHANGAMOMONA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Whangamomona County Council hereby resolves as follows :—That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of two hundred and fifty pounds (£250), authorized to be raised by the Whangamomona County Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for building a bridge over the Mangaehu Stream near the junction of the Mangaehu Road and the Mangarewa Road in the County of Whangamomona, the said Whangamomona County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny and seven-eighths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Mangaehu Road No. 111 Loan Special-rating Area, comprising Sections lc, lb, 17, and 18, Block XVI, Ngatimaru Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of January and the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
