Amending a Proclamation proclaiming Lands as Roads in Patiti and Otaio Survey Districts, Canterbury Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section five of the Land Act, 1908, it is therein provided that every Proclamation, Order in Council, or other instrument, whether made under any Act in force prior to the commencement of that Act or made under or by virtue of that Act, and all regulations, by-laws, conditions, or rules made by the Governor, the Minister, or any Land Board, may be altered, amended, or revoked from time to time:
And whereas an error has been made in a Proclamation issued under the said Act, proclaiming lands as roads in Patiti and Otaio Survey Districts, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, dated the fifteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and hereinafter referred to as “the said Proclamation”:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, do hereby amend the said Proclamation as follows—namely, by the exclusion therefrom of the area, 1 acre 2 roods 21 perches, shown as portion of Section 7106, Block XI, Otaio Survey District, in the Schedule to the said Proclamation.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this third day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Crown Lands set apart for Disposal by Way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

ERRATUM.—In the Schedule to the Order in Council authorizing the laying-off of a street in the Borough of Devonport of a width less than 66 ft. but not less than 50 ft., published in Gazette No. 120, page 3299, of 19th October, 1916, for “Lots 1 to 26 of Allotment 13A of Section 2, Parish of Takapuna,” read “Lots 1 to 26 of Allotments 13 and 13A of Section 2, Parish of Takapuna.”
