Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owner, lessees, and mortgagee of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Hobson County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Tutamoe and Waipoua Survey Districts described in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, for scenic purposes:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for scenic purposes as aforesaid; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eleventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—
280 acres, portion of Rotobokahoka “D” North No. 6; Blocks XVI, Rotorua, and IV, Horohoro Survey Districts. Edged pink on plan.
2 acres 2 roods, portion of Rotobokahoka “F” Block; Block XVI, Rotorua Survey District. Edged blue on plan.
