Lands proclaimed as Roads in Block XIII, Rangaunu Survey District, Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owner and lessees of the lands described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Mangonui County Council, being the local authority in whose district the lands are situated, proclaim as roads the lands described in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as roads:—
1 acre 2 roods 27 perches, portion of Parapara West No 2 Block.
2 roods 38·9 perches, 1 acre 0 roods 12·1 perches, and 4·7 perches, portion of Section 1 E.R.
1 acre 0 roods 5·3 perches, portion of Section 2 C.L.

Situated in Block XIII, Rangaunu Survey District.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked L. and S. 16/255A and 16/255B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Additional Land at Mercer taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waika Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further land at Mercer, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 2 acres 2 roods.

South portion of Lot 29, Suburbs of Mercer (S.O. 18698, blue), Block II, Maramarua Survey District, Franklin County.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 23336, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

ERRATUM.—In the notification published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 6, of the 27th January, 1916, of the approval of His Excellency of fees to be paid to the Geraldine County Funds for the licensing of vehicles, the word “Wairewa” in the heading to the notice should read “Geraldine,” and the word “of” in the second last line before the words “the Geraldine County Fund” should read “to.”
