Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of Streets in the Borough of Blenheim.
[l.s.] LIVERPOOL, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Picton-Hurunui Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of streets:
And whereas it has been certified by the Minister of Railways that such land is not required for railway purposes: And whereas such land is situated in the Borough of Blenheim, the local authority of which has assented to the issue of this Proclamation:
And whereas His Excellency the Governor is of opinion that the said local authority can conveniently construct and maintain the said streets:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become streets, and that the said streets shall be under the control of the Blenheim Borough Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 33·9 perches.
Portion of railway reserve (S.O. R. 287).
Situated in Borough of Blenheim.
In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 22366, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this second day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

Declaring a Portion of Railway Reserve near Swanson to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section five of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, it is provided that in the case of any land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, the Governor may, on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation declare such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908, and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed of under that Act accordingly:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto has been, inter alia, acquired for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway by a Proclamation dated the twenty-first day of December, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 135, of the twenty-seventh day of December, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three: And whereas the said land is not now required for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway, and the Minister has recommended that this Proclamation should be issued declaring such land to be Crown land:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section five of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 3 roods 23 perches.
Portion of railway reserve (S.O. 17770A, blue).
Situated in Block XIII, Waitemata Survey District, Waitemata County.
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 22462, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Whangarei County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Purua Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 3 roods 19 perches, portion of Allotment 50, Whangarei Parish (S O. 18352).
Situated in Block VIII, Purua Survey District.
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 38136, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owner and lessee of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Murchison County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Tutaki Survey District, described in the Schedule hereto.
