Resignation of a Trustee of the Patumahoe Hall Site.

Award of the Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long-service Medal.

Wellington, 19th July, 1915.
HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve of the award of a Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long-service Medal to No. 47/34 Sergeant-major (Warrant Officer) Joseph Hudson Hanson, No. 2 Field Ambulance, he having a total service to the 16th June, 1915, entitling him thereto, of twenty years one hundred and twenty-nine days.

Pheasants turned at large in the Buller Acclimatization Society’s District declared to be vested in that Society.

HIS Excellency the Governor directs it to be notified that the Buller Acclimatization Society has turned at large a number of pheasants in the Buller Acclimatization District, and that the property in such pheasants and their offspring and every bird of a like species in that Acclimatization District is deemed to be vested in the Buller Acclimatization Society for a period of three years from the date hereof, as provided by section 56 of the Animals Protection Act, 1908.

Plants declared to be Noxious Weeds by the Thames Borough Council.—Notice No. 1787.

IT is hereby notified for public information that the Thames Borough Council has, by special order, declared the following plants to be noxious weeds within the meaning of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1908, in the district under its jurisdiction: Bathurst burr, fennel, gorse, wild turnip.
