SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of Ohura Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Whangamomona County, commencing at a point marked 32 miles 60 chains on road chainage at the Pohokura Railway-station, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally adjoining or passing through Sections 8, 25, 24, 23, and 22, Block IV, Ngatimaru Survey District, and part Section 19, Block I, Mahoe Survey District, and terminating at a point marked 38 miles 6 chains on the road chainage, being a distance of 5 miles 26 chains, more or less; as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 36899, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Kairimu Road, in the Awakino County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this nineteenth day of January, 1915.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of Kairimu Road, in the Auckland Land District, Awakino County, commencing at its junction with Marakopa Valley Road, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally adjoining or passing through Kinohaku West K No. 2b, and Section 2, Block XIII, Kawhia South Survey District, and terminating at the creek crossing at a point about 2 miles 3 chains from its junction with the said Marakopa Valley Road; as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 36952, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Waipaua Road, in the Awakino County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this nineteenth day of January, 1915.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

ALL that road in the Auckland Land District, Awakino County, known as Waipaua Road, commencing at its junction with Waipa Road, near the north-eastern corner of P Section 2 of Kinohaku West Block, Block VI, Marakopa Survey District; and proceeding thence in a southerly direction generally adjoining or passing through the said P Section 2, T Section 2, 2b (scenic reserve), all in the Kinohaku West Block; and Section 2, Block VI, Marakopa Survey District; and terminating at its junction with Kiritehere Road, being a distance of 3 miles 12 chains, more or less: as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 36937, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Extending Time for holding Election, Palmerston North-Kairanga River Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this nineteenth day of January, 1915.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty-two of the River Boards Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted, among other things, that the Governor, by Order in Council gazetted, may extend the time allowed for the holding of any election, whether or not the day has passed on which the same ought to have been held: And whereas the election of members of the Palmerston North-Kairanga River Board was not held on the date fixed by the said Act, and it is expedient that the time for holding the said election should be extended as hereinafter mentioned:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby extend the time for holding the election of members of the Palmerston North-Kairanga River Board to the twenty-eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

Licensing Messrs. Lichtenstein, Arnoldson, and Co. to occupy a Part of the Foreshore at Putiki Bay, Waiheke Island, as a Site for a Wharf.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twelfth day of January, 1915.

Present:

The Right Honourable W. F. Massey, P.C., presiding in Council.

WHEREAS, there being no Harbour Board empowered to grant the license hereinafter mentioned, Max Lichtenstein and Louis Arnoldson, trading under the style or title of “Lichtenstein, Arnoldson, and Co.” (hereinafter called “the licensees”), have applied to the Governor in Council for a license under the Harbours Act, 1908 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), to occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Putiki Bay, Waiheke Island, in order to erect and maintain thereon a wharf; and, in accordance with the one-hundred-and-fiftieth section of the said Act, have deposited plans in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington (marked M.D. 4259), showing the place where it is intended to erect such wharf, the area of foreshore and land below low-water mark to be occupied for such purpose, and the manner in which it is proposed to erect the wharf: And whereas it has been made to appear to the Governor in Council that the proposed work will not be or tend to the injury of navigation; and the said plans have, prior to the making of this Order in Council, been approved by the Governor in Council, without modification or addition: And whereas it is expedient that a license under the said Act, for the purpose aforesaid, should be granted and issued to the licensees, on the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the purpose or object for which the said license is required by the licensees as aforesaid; and, in further pursuance and
