Declaring a Native to be a European.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-first day of June, 1915.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section seventeen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1912, it is enacted that the Governor may by Order in Council, on the recommendation of the Native Land Court, declare any Native to be a European: And whereas William Sullivan, of Takapuna, Auckland, being a Native within the meaning of the Native Land Act, 1909, applied in the prescribed form for a recommendation of the Court that he might be declared a European: And whereas the said Court, having duly inquired into the said application, has recommended that an Order in Council be issued declaring the said William Sullivan to be a European: And whereas it is expedient that such declaration should be made:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred on him by section seventeen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1912, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare the said William Sullivan, of Takapuna, Auckland, to be a European.

Prohibiting all Private Alienation of certain Native Land.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-first day of June, 1915.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienations of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienations in favour of the Crown.

SCHEDULE.

Arapawanui Block: Approximate area, 5,043 acres; Moeangiangi Survey District.

Fixing Date of First Meeting of Karitane Domain Board.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-first day of June, 1915.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council issued under the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, on the thirty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, and published in Gazette No. 70, of the fourth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Karitane Domain; and the first meeting of the Board was fixed for Saturday, the twelfth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen: And whereas the first meeting was not held on the date fixed, and it is expedient to fix a new date for such meeting: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-sixth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, at seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Huipapa Hall, Puketeraki, as the place where, the first meeting of the Karitane Domain Board shall be held.

Revoking Order in Council licensing Thomas Crocket to use and occupy a Part of the Foreshore of Half-moon Bay.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-first day of June, 1915.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the thirtieth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 1, of the thirteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and ten, His Excellency the Governor in Council did, in pursuance of the provisions of the Harbours Act, 1908, license Thomas Crocket, of Bluff, to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Half-moon Bay for a shed for fish-curing purposes, in accordance with plan marked M.D. 2061, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, and upon and subject to the terms and conditions therein set forth: And whereas the said Thomas Crocket having ceased to use or occupy the said shed for a period of thirty days, it is desirable that the said license should be revoked: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Harbours Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke and determine the said-recited Order in Council of the thirtieth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and the rights and privileges thereby conferred.

Vesting Management of Fishermen’s Wharf at Helensville in the Helensville Town Board.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-first day of June, 1915.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section eleven of the Harbours Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor in Council may vest the management of any wharf the property of His Majesty in any local governing body or person, upon such terms and conditions as the Governor in Council thinks fit: And whereas it is thought desirable to vest in the Helensville Town Board (hereinafter called “the Board”) the
