Land taken for the Purposes of Departmental Buildings,
Taumarunui.

[L.S.] LIVERPOOL, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the pur-
poses of departmental buildings, Taumarunui:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law
to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such
land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been
observed and performed:
Now, therefore; I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908,
and of every other power and authority in anywise en-
abling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
taken for the purposes of the said departmental buildings;
and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the third day of July, one thousand
nine hundred and fifteen.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 rood, portion
of Section 14A, Township of Taumarunui.
Situated in Block I, Piopiotea Survey District (S.O. 18225,
blue).
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 37573,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zea-
land and its Dependencies; and issued under
the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Govern-
ment House at Wellington, this nineteenth day of
June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine
hundred and fifteen.

Land taken for the Purposes of widening Main Road in the
Borough of Lower Hutt.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for the purpose of widening Main Road in the
Borough of Lower Hutt:
And whereas the Lower Hutt Borough Council has laid
before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map in
duplicate, and also the statutory declaration, as required by
the said Act :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of widen-
ing Main Road in the Borough of Lower Hutt as from
the date hereinafter specified, and shall vest in the Mayor,
Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Lower Hutt;
and I do also direct that this Proclamation shall take effect
on and after the tenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred
and fifteen.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 0·75 perches.
Portion of Section No. 24, Hutt District, Borough of Lower
Hutt.
Situated in Block IX, Belmont Survey District.
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 37971,

Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon bordered red.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes
of street-widening in Block VII. Port Nicholson Survey
District, City of Wellington:
And whereas the Wellington City Council has laid before
the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map in dupli-
cate, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the
said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the
Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of
the said street-widening, and shall vest in the Mayor,
Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington on and
after the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also hereby
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the tenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and
fifteen.

of Original Section 5, City of Wellington, Evans
Bay Registration District. Coloured red on plan.
0·47 perches, portion of Section 867, City of Welling-
ton, Town of Wellington Registration District.
Coloured blue on plan.
Situated in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District.
In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 37957,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
