KAWHIA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Kawhia County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £750, authorized to be raised by the Kawhia County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the erection, fitting, and furnishing of Council Chambers at Kawhia, the said Kawhia County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one twenty-fourth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the County of Kawhia ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

We hereby certify that the above is a true copy and a correct extract from the minutes of proceedings of the Kawhia County Council at a meeting of the said Council held on the 29th day of May, 1915.

PAHIATUA COUNTY COUNCIL.

SPECIAL LOAN, £200.—MANGAMAIRE ROAD.—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Pahiatua County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £200, authorized to be raised by the Pahiatua County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for re-forming and metalling a portion of the Mangamaire Road, the said Pahiatua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five-sixteenths of a penny in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the Mangamaire Road Special-rating Area, comprising Sections 66, 67, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, Block XIV, Mangahao Survey District ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Pahiatua County Council held on the 10th April, 1915.

HUNTLY TOWN BOARD.

EXTRACT FROM THE MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUNTLY TOWN BOARD AT A MEETING OF SUCH BOARD HELD ON THE 27TH DAY OF MAY, 1915, AT 7 P.M.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Town Boards Act, 1908, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Huntly Town Board hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the payment of interest and sinking fund and other charges on a loan of £6,000, authorized to be raised by the said Huntly Town Board, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of providing an electric lighting and power supply for the Huntly Town District, including the acquisition of such sites and land as may be necessary for such purpose, and the construction and erection thereon of such power-house, buildings, plant, and machinery as may be necessary or incidental to the said undertaking, and also the provision and erection of poles, wires, lamps, and connections as may be required for the public and private lighting of the Huntly Town District, the said Huntly Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅔ of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Town District of Huntly ; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed at the monthly meeting of the Huntly Town Board held in the Board’s office on Thursday, 27th May, 1915.

MASTERTON COUNTY.

RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Masterton County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and annual charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Masterton County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for constructing a bridge over the Tauern River on the Mangarei Road, the said Masterton County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Mangarei Road Loan Special-rating Area, comprising part Section 118, Sections 115, 146, part Section 116, Section 145, Block VII ; Sections 144, 211, Block VIII ; part Te Pohue, Block XI ; Sections 5, 28, 29, 32, 33, and 117, Block XII, Kopuaranga Survey District : and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of February and the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed at a duly convened and constituted meeting of the Masterton County Council held on the 11th day of May, 1915.
