Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION NO. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Aotea Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Waimarino C D No. 3E will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wanganui on Wednesday, the 30th day of June, 1915, at 12.30 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—
“ That the said land be leased to Charles Burdon Buxton, of Auckland, farmer, for the term of forty-two years at an annual rental of 1s. 6d. per acre for the first twenty-one years and of 2s. 6d. per acre for the remaining twenty-one years.”
Dated at Wanganui this 2nd day of June, 1915.

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION NO. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Aotea Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Ohura South D 5D 3 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Taumarunui on Thursday, the 1st day of July, 1915, at 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—
“ That the said land be leased to Edward A. Watkins for a term of forty-two years at an annual rental of 1s. 6d. per acre during the first twenty-one years and of 5 per centum of the Government unimproved value during the remaining twenty-one years; the lessee also to pay during the first year the sum of £7 per acre of marketable milling timber in full payment of all timber and timber-like trees on the said land.”

“ That an offer made by the Crown to purchase the land or any part thereof shall be accepted.”

“ That the whole of the land be sold to Eliza Catherine Collier, married woman, of Wanganui, at the price of £3 10s. per acre.”
