Notice fixing the Closing-hours of Shops wherein is carried on the Trade of a Seller of Phonographs, Gramaphones, Records, Music, and Musical Instruments in the City of Auckland under the Shops and Offices Act.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing, signed by a majority of the occupiers of all the shops wherein is carried on the trade of a seller of phonographs, gramaphones, records, music, and musical instruments in the City of Auckland, has been forwarded to me desiring that all such shops in the city shall be closed in the evening of working-days as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, at 6 o’clock p.m., excepting from the third Monday in December to the second Saturday in January inclusive:
And whereas the Auckland City Council has certified that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the shops wherein is carried on the trade of a seller of phonographs, gramaphones, records, music, and musical instruments within the City of Auckland:
Now, therefore, I, William Ferguson Massey, Minister of Labour, in pursuance of section 25 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1908, do hereby direct that from and after the 14th day of June, 1915, all such shops in the City of Auckland shall be closed in accordance with such requisition.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Blocks XIII and XIV, Waitoa Survey District, for Road Purposes.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road in Blocks XIII and XIV, Waitoa Survey District; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Tahuna, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

WHEREAS there is reasonable ground to suppose that the persons, firms, or companies named or described in the Schedule hereto are engaged in business and communications of a nature injurious to the public safety, and the effective conduct of the military and naval operations of His Majesty during the present war:
Now, therefore, I, Robert Heaton Rhodes, the Postmaster-General of New Zealand, do hereby, in pursuance of clause 2 of the regulations made and gazetted on the 17th day of December, 1914, under the War Regulations Act, 1914, order that no postal packet or telegram addressed to or intended for any of the persons, firms, or companies named or described in the Schedule hereto shall be forwarded or delivered by the Post Office, or transmitted by telegraph.
